Dentist

Stella Johyun Woo D.M.D.

Dr. Woo was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to New Jersey at age 12. She attended Phillips Exeter Academy, where she earned a classical diploma in Latin and Greek, and later studied Art History at Williams College while competing on the women’s varsity golf team.

It was during these years that she fell in love with New England—its natural beauty, kind community, and the history—which is why she's excited to make this area her home for the long term.

After completing her studies, Dr. Woo earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, where she was actively involved in research and leadership, including presenting at the 2023 national AADOCR conference. She served as president of the Endodontics Club, vice president of the AADOCR student chapter, and secretary of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity.

Outside of work, Dr. Woo loves reading, running scenic trails, golfing with friends, traveling, and attending concerts. She’s passionate about making patients feel at ease and confident in their dental care, and she’s looking forward to building lasting relationships in the community she’s grown to love.

Vincent Basha D.D.S.

Hi, I’m Dr. Vincent Basha, a prosthodontist passionate about creating smiles that inspire confidence and tell unique stories. My journey began at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where I discovered my love for prosthodontics and the artistry behind restoring function and aesthetics.

I’m proud to be an American Board Certified Prosthodontist, a distinction that reflects my dedication to excellence and patient-centered care. Beyond clinical practice, I’ve had the honor of serving as an Assistant Professor at Tufts, mentoring the next generation of dental professionals and sharing the craft that has given me so much purpose.

Outside the dental chair, I’m fueled by my love for sports, cars, and tech—whether I’m catching a game, enjoying a drive, or exploring the latest innovations. Recently, I transitioned from the energy of Boston to the charm of Maine, embracing a new pace of life while continuing my mission to help patients look, feel, and live their best.

Darcey has been working at Gentle Dental Topsham since 2012. Her goal is to provide excellent patient care for the community. When she is not in the office Darcey enjoys being outside and spending time with family and friends.

David

Location: Topsham ME

Dave has been working in Dental Administration since his retirement from the US Navy in 2009. When not working, he enjoys spending his time cooking, reading, and listening to music. Spending his weekends with his lovely wife, and their dog Fiona.

Lilly graduated magma cum laude from the Dental Hygiene program at UMA in 2024 after a background working in special education. She is passionate about oral health education, bringing a high standard of care, and creating a relaxing and judgement free zone for her patients.

Lorrie grew up in Lewiston, Maine and attended CMCC. Her dental career began at Aspen Dental and from there, moved onto a specialty practice in endodontics in Auburn, ME, but later returned to general dentistry right here at Gentle Dental in Topsham, ME where she has been for the last 3 years.
